Short training clips your team will actually watch.
These are the released Mac App Store 1.1 features. The free Direct 1.1 download is coming soon.
Some instructions are easier to show than to write. Record the screen while explaining a process, and include your camera when a personal introduction helps. Snapmodo keeps the tracks separate so you can decide afterward when viewers see the screen, your face or both. You can trim the ends, remove an unnecessary section and guide attention with a label or a manually placed zoom.
Keep each clip focused on one task. Add editable captions on a compatible Mac, export an SRT file if your destination needs it, and choose an MP4 size that fits where the clip will be used. A screenshot with numbered steps may be enough for a simple procedure, and those tools are free. Screenshot branding can add your logo or text; video branding is not included. Captures stay on the Mac until you choose to share them. The Direct paid license is for one person on up to two Macs, not a shared team license.
