We just wanted
to show the thing.
A screenshot should help you explain something. It shouldn’t become another task.
Snapmodo started with a familiar frustration: remembering which keys capture a region, adding another key to copy it, and fiddling with a window to get a vertical recording framed properly. Then came the extra steps to mark up the image or turn a recording into something worth sharing.
We got tired of that routine. So we started building the capture tool we wanted to use ourselves.
Less setup. More “got it.”
A menu-bar button when you need it. A shortcut that makes sense to you. A Stream Deck key with its own icon. A visible frame for a social video, and an editor close enough that adding context feels like part of the capture.

Snapmodo is a Matano Enterprises app, shaped by everyday work explaining technical problems and creating visual content. Our aim is a practical, approachable tool that earns its place on your Mac.
