License terms

One license, one person, up to two Macs.

Your purchase

The direct edition costs Founder’s price $9.99 $14.99 once, with no subscription. Taxes may apply. Your individual license is for one person and may be active on up to two Macs at the same time. Do not share your license or account with another person. Team licensing is planned, with no announced date.

Activation and deauthorization

Use your verified purchase account to activate each Mac. Settings and your web account show the active Macs and the activation limit. A third Mac cannot activate until you deauthorize an existing Mac in Settings or at snapmodo.com/account/. Deauthorization frees the seat immediately. You can deauthorize a lost, wiped or sold Mac through your account without access to that Mac.

Offline access

An activated paid Mac can work offline for up to 30 days before reconnecting. Remote deauthorization cannot reach an offline Mac. That Mac may retain access until its next successful license check or the expiry of its existing 30-day lease. Signing out does not free a seat. Existing captures remain available after deauthorization or expiry. A recording already in progress can finish.

Trial

The seven-day trial is separate from a paid license and is limited to one Mac per email address. Its seven consecutive days start at first activation. No payment card is required, and it does not automatically charge or renew. Reinstalling does not restart the trial.

Updates

Your purchase includes Snapmodo 1.x updates. Future major upgrades may be sold separately or carry an upgrade fee. There is no automatic upgrade charge.

Mac App Store edition

These terms cover direct website purchases only. Mac App Store purchases and updates are managed by Apple and follow the terms shown there. The App Store edition has no direct license controls.

Support and privacy

Contact hello@matanoit.com for purchase or activation help. Keep your license key private. Captures stay on your Mac unless you choose to share them. See our privacy policy and installation and licensing guide.

Starting a trial in the direct app requires your name, email and an internet connection. You can start capturing without a password or email confirmation. Trial notices include your expiration date and a link to buy. Marketing is optional and separate.
